The Sound of a Vanished Era brings the music of an earlier recording age back to life through rare Shellac 78 RPM records. The evening features original recordings of artists including Gauhar Jaan and Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, played directly from the original discs, with Zahid Hossain and Rahim Pirani guiding the programme.
