What it's all about

Madhubani Painting Art Date is a beautiful, hands-on cultural experience organised by SOCIAL, designed to be enjoyed with a partner, friend, or loved one. Together, you'll explore the rich and ancient tradition of Madhubani, one of India's most celebrated folk art forms, rooted in the villages of Bihar and known for its intricate patterns, vibrant colours and deep connection to nature, mythology and everyday life. Guided by friendly mentors throughout, participants use natural motifs, bold lines and bright colours to create their very own Madhubani masterpiece, no prior experience needed. All materials are provided and every participant takes home their artwork as a tangible memory of the experience. Running every Saturday across ten weeks at the buzzing Park Street SOCIAL, the workshop is open to all age groups. Whether you're looking for a unique date idea, a meaningful activity with a friend, or simply a way to connect with India's living folk traditions, this is a session that nourishes both creativity and connection.
