What it's all about

Kantha Kathan brings the traditional craft of rural Bengal into focus through an exhibition and sale featuring kantha artists from the Nanoor and Ausgram clusters. The six-day programme includes craft demonstrations, workshops and discussions on the history and practice of Kantha. Presented by Banglanatak dot com with support from Coal India Limited, the exhibition also aims to create a closer connection between rural craft practitioners and audiences in Kolkata.
