What it's all about

Presented by Kolkata Centre for Creativity as part of the seventh edition of the AMI Arts Festival, Dance Like a Man centres on Bharatanatyam dancers Jairaj and Ratna, whose ambitions and compromises shape their relationship with their daughter Lata as she prepares to build a career in dance. With performances by Ananth Mahadevan, Joy Sengupta, Suchitra Pillai and Lillete Dubey, the production examines family tensions and gender expectations through a mix of comedy and drama.
