Jouthojapon is an evening celebrating warmth and togetherness through music and storytelling. The programme features songs of Rabindranath Tagore, brought to life by singer Kanchanmala Ghosh, with stories and insights narrated by elocutionist Sumantra Sengupta. The first segment Sundar He Sundar, captures the essence of Tagore’s musical and poetic world, while the second segment will be taken over by the elocutionist Mousumi Mitra (Pal) sharing themes of love and protest. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Suman Mukherjee, Amal Sarkar, and Nandan Dasgupta.
