Presented by the Kolkata Centre for Creativity, this special screening of Satyajit Ray’s timeless classic Pather Panchali is thoughtfully curated for the visually impaired community with live audio description support. Conceptualised by Dr. Ishan Chakraborty of Jadavpur University, with audio description by Arya Moitra, the programme reimagines cinema through evocative narration, immersive sound and descriptive storytelling, creating a shared and inclusive sensory experience of Ray’s cinematic world.
